When you create an account or use Volleyball Engine, we may collect the following information:

• Account information: Name, email address, and password (or Google account details if using Google Sign-In).
• Player profile: Display name and any optional profile details you provide.
• Tournament data: Registration records, check-in status, team assignments, and game scores associated with your participation.
• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and general interaction patterns to help us improve the platform.

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your player account.
• Register you for tournaments and manage your participation.
• Display live scores, schedules, and team assignments.
• Communicate tournament updates and important announcements.
• Improve the platform and fix issues.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We use this information solely to create and authenticate your account.

We do not access your Google contacts, calendar, or any other Google services beyond basic authentication. You can revoke access at any time through your Google Account permissions.

We use cookies and browser local storage for:

• Authentication: Keeping you signed in across sessions.
• Preferences: Remembering your theme and display settings.

We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.

Volleyball Engine relies on the following third-party services to operate:

• Supabase: Database hosting, authentication, and file storage. Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure. See the Supabase Privacy Policy.
• Vercel: Application hosting. See the Vercel Privacy Policy.
• Google: OAuth authentication. See the Google Privacy Policy.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Tournament participation records (scores, team assignments) may be retained for historical purposes even after account deletion.

You may request deletion of your account and personal data by contacting us. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
